CBSE Teacher Training Program Enriches Educators at Saraswati World School
Saraswati World School took a significant step towards enhancing educational standards by hosting a CBSE-conducted Capacity Building Program (CBP) on Happy Classrooms on November 30, 2024. The program aimed at empowering educators with modern teaching methodologies, focusing on emotional intelligence, well-being, and competency-based education.
This full-day Teacher Training event, held from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, brought together 40 educators from various schools across the region, fostering collaboration and professional growth. The training was led by esteemed CBSE trainers, Miss Baisakhi Mukherjee and Miss Srinjini Dutta, both from Krishnagar Public School, Nadia. Their sessions combined theory and practical activities to provide actionable insights for today’s classrooms.
Teacher Training Program Highlights
The Teacher Training program was thoughtfully divided into several segments:
- Segment A: Focused on Emotional Intelligence and classroom behaviour management, equipping teachers with tools to connect with students on a deeper level.
- Segment B: Explored Pleasure, Well-being, and Happiness at the Desk, emphasizing the role of positivity in learning.
- Segment C: Introduced Storytelling Approaches and Activity-Based Learning, offering strategies for creating engaging lesson plans.
Participants actively engaged in assessments and discussions, reflecting the program’s interactive and dynamic nature. Key activities included storytelling exercises, collaborative brainstorming, and practical applications of digital tools in education.

The Teacher Training prgram began with a warm welcome and felicitation ceremony led by the Saraswati World School’s Principal, Mrs. Shyamashree Biswas, who expressed her pride in hosting the event:
“It is an honor to collaborate with CBSE in enhancing the quality of education. Programs like these equip our educators with the tools needed to create a nurturing and impactful learning environment.”
