Source: TikTok India Return? Website Unblocked Sparks Buzz, But Government Clarifies Ban Still Stands

TikTok’s official website briefly became accessible in India, raising speculation about a return. However, the Government of India clarified that no order has been issued to lift the ban.

ByteDance has also confirmed that it has not resumed operations in India. TikTok has remained officially banned since June 2020 under Section 69A.
