ICAI CA Final and Intermediate Results 2024: Check Your Scorecard and Pass Percentage

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is all set to announce the results for the May 2024 CA Final and Intermediate exams today, July 11, 2024. Aspiring Chartered Accountants in India have been eagerly awaiting these results, and the wait is finally over!

How to Check Your Results- ICAI Site

  1. Visit the Official Website: To access your results, head over to the official ICAI website: icai.nic.in. The result link will be made active on the homepage.
  2. Login with Your Credentials: Candidates will need to log in using their roll number and registration numbers or PINs to access and download their intermediate and final results.

Previous Year’s Statistics

Let’s take a look at the pass percentages from the previous year (November 2023 session):

  • Intermediate (Group I):
    • Total Candidates: 1,17,304
    • Pass Percentage: 16.78%
  • Intermediate (Group II):
    • Total Candidates: 93,638
    • Pass Percentage: 19.18%

In 2023, Akshay Ramesh Jain from Ahmedabad secured All India Rank 1 by scoring 616/800 (77%). Following him were Kalpesh Jain (second position) and Prakhar Varshney.

About the Chartered Accountancy Course

ICAI

The Chartered Accountancy (CA) course is a prestigious professional degree program in India. It equips students with the knowledge and skills required to excel in accounting, auditing, taxation, financial management, and other related fields. The CA journey involves clearing three levels of examinations:

  1. CA Foundation Course Examination (four papers)
  2. CA Intermediate Examination (eight papers based on the New Syllabus and eight papers based on the Old Syllabus)
  3. CA Final Examination (eight papers based on the New Syllabus and eight papers based on the Old Syllabus)

Candidates must score at least 40% in each paper and a minimum of 50% overall in each group to qualify for the intermediate and final exams.
